Birthday Party Creations

Here is the most recent birthday party we have done.  Our client was having a Minnie Mouse birthday party for her daughter and she wanted us to design a centerpiece.  She wanted something that was simple and sturdy that wouldn't blow away if wind was an issue (She was having the party outside).  Our client saw Holly-Lou's Paper Parties . . . . and More's booth at the Hermiston Fun Fest and talked to me about the party there.  As it turned out, my sister was there keeping me company and she put the idea into my head for the design.  I ran with it.  What do you think?  I think they turned out simply adorable!!

I had to come up with something that was the basic shape of Minnie Mouse's head. Well, I searched the Dollar Store and found something that would work. I made a first draft, like a model and showed it to our client.

First attempt/Model
I made them double sided so the guests would not see a "back".

Since her daughter was wearing a tutu she wanted to see if I could put tulle around the bottom.  I loved the idea!!

Here are the finished products!

These are also double sided so they do not have a "back".  My client suggested doing tulle for some of the bows because I ran out of the dark pink ribbon and could not get enough to finish them all.  She loved how they turned out!!  I fell in love with how they all turned out!
